Richard Capozza chairs the firm’s Environmental Practice Area and the Energy & Utilities Practice Area. He focuses his practice in the area of environmental law with a concentration in CERCLA/Superfund, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance/permitting, project siting and transactional due diligence. Mr. Capozza is the Business Development and Client Relations Partner and has chaired the firm’s Marketing Committee for the last 10 years. During his tenure, the firm has grown from 55 attorneys and $15 million in revenue to an NLJ 250 law firm with over 200 attorneys and $60 million in revenue. Mr. Capozza is the Client Relationship Manager for several of the firm’s largest clients.
Gabriel Miller, General Counsel of Sokolove Law LLC, oversees all legal activities involving the firm. As a member of the Senior Management Team, Miller is responsible for implementing the ongoing national growth of Sokolove Law. His legal oversight extends to national marketing and relationships with affiliate firms as well as day-to-day firm operations. Miller served as General Counsel in a variety of industries before joining Sokolove Law. He was General Counsel for Captivate Network, a media company reaching over 2 million viewers each day. Prior to that, he was General Counsel for Fleet Real Estate Capital, a multi-billion dollar commercial loan originator and servicer and Senior Vice President and Senior Counsel at Fleet Bank, responsible for real estate issues involving several thousand domestic and international facilities. Miller started his career as a commercial litigator at Cohen & Wolf. Miller is a contributing author to Successful Partnering Between Inside and Outside Counsel published by Thomson West. He has trained thousands of lawyers and business development specialists in legal marketing, sales, and service and is a frequent speaker and presenter on the industry conference circuit. Miller has a JD from the University of Connecticut School of Law and a BS from the University of Connecticut Honors Scholars Program.
