Judges from around the country were asked during the kick-off session of the Judicial Forum on Asbestos held in New York City on June 3 to provide an overview of the asbestos docket they manage.  Judge Davidson, who, along with Judge Sandra Mazer Moss of Philadelphia helped conceive the Judicial Forum on Asbestos, started his comments by saying:  “I am now convinced that the Texas MDL was created by our legislature with the intent that it be the death knell of mass torts.”
