HB is proud to announce that the Honorable George C. Hanks, Jr., Magistrate Judge with the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas will be speaking at the NAHB Home Building Issues Legal Symposium in Washington DC on March 29.  Justice Hanks will be presenting on Discovery of Evidence in the Electronic Age – a session that will be eligible for an ethics CLE credit for attending attorneys.

This first-time event is being planned by HB Litigation Conferences in conjunction with the National Association of Home Builders and is being hosted at the association’s headquarters.

Other topics on the day long program include an in-house general counsel panel, housing industry economic outlook, legislative and regulatory issues affecting builders, a litigation update, insurance issues, green building and a featured keynote from Senator Tom Daschle.

The co-chairing panel includes: David Jaffe of the Office of the General Counsel of the NAHB, Scott Vokey who is the General Counsel of Weyerhaeuser Real Estate Company, Stephen Mysliwiec of DLA Piper and Brenda Radmacher of Wood, Smith, Henning & Berman.
