HB Litigation Conferences, a nationally certified provider of continuing legal education conferences, webcasts, teleconferences and multi-media products, and U.S. Legal Support, Inc., a leading provider of full-service court reporting, record retrieval and legal placement & staffing services, have announced a strategic alliance to enhance their respective services and reach into the U.S. litigation market.
HB Litigation Conferences is a newly-formed corporation created by Tom Hagy, 52, an experienced legal publishing executive whose 30-year career has been devoted to serving litigators with content and connections in a variety of ways, such as news reporting, commentary publishing, online data, conferences and multimedia. His company is leveraging conference assets that he and partner Sharon Boothe have developed since 1992, with annual events such as The Insurance Insolvency & Reinsurance Roundtable, The National Asbestos Litigation Conference, The National Lead Litigation Conference, and two dozen others.
U.S. Legal Support is one of the largest full-service legal support companies in the nation, incorporating court reporting, record retrieval, and legal placement and staffing. All of these services are provided with accuracy, speed and advanced technological support. The company has several offices across the country reflecting hundreds of years of combined experience in the legal support business. U.S. Legal Support recently opened offices in Philadelphia and San Diego and added court reporting services to their downtown Chicago office.
“U.S. Legal Support is serious about expanding its services for litigators and corporations, an effort that closely aligns with our own ambitions. Our first efforts together confirm our belief that we are working with a great team of professionals devoted to serving the legal market, a passion we share,” said Hagy, president of HB.
“We are in a concerted growth stage, and working with reputable alliance partners like Hagy and Boothe at HB is just one facet of our expansion strategy,” said James Bruni, vice president sales & marketing for U.S. Legal Support.
Both companies serve litigators engaged in a variety of subjects, such as insurance, mass torts, pharmaceutical liability, employment, financial litigation, securities, construction defects and many more, as well as in-house counsel at companies of virtually any size either dealing with or preventing litigation.
